Havila Biogass selects Nordsol to develop three
LBG production plants in Norway

With this unique partnership, Havila Biogass and Nordsol strengthen the foundation for Norway’s biogas-driven circular economy and energy security, combining local waste management with innovative European clean technology to supply reliable, fossil-free energy nationwide.

Havila Biogass is a Norwegian company and part of the Havila Group, a family-owned enterprise with more than 1,200 employees. The company develops, builds and operates biogas plants across Norway, creating climate solutions that combine emission reductions, circular economy and local value creation. Havila Biogass currently operates one plant in Møre og Romsdal and is delivering an additional 500 GWh of projects, alongside another 500 GWh in the concept phase.

Nordsol is a technology pioneer in on-site production of fossil-free bio-LNG.
